Our programs are designed for children, adults, families, seniors and individuals with different abilities.
Summer in the Garden
Hands-on gardening and food education for children and families.
Participants learn about planting, garden care, harvesting, fresh food and the connection between agriculture and healthy living.
Grow & Build
A hands-on learning program connecting agriculture with science, technology, engineering, arts and mathematics.
Activities may include garden construction, irrigation, growing structures, tools, problem-solving and other practical projects.
For The Tech Village, the “A” in STEAM represents both Arts and Agriculture.
Healthy Families Through Food
A practical food and nutrition program focused on gardening, food preparation, preservation and healthier family food choices.
Participants learn skills they can use at home, including preparing fresh foods, preserving seasonal produce and understanding how food choices affect everyday health.
Accessible Agriculture & Community Garden Program
Inclusive gardening and agricultural activities designed to reduce barriers to participation.
The program supports children, adults, seniors and individuals with disabilities through accessible growing spaces, adaptive tools and hands-on learning opportunities.
Farm to Family / Food Is Medicine
A food-access and nutrition initiative connecting fresh produce, nutrition education and practical food skills.
The program supports families in learning how to grow, prepare, preserve and use nutritious foods.
Agri-Entrepreneurship & Small Business Development
A practical entrepreneurship program focused on turning agricultural knowledge and food-related skills into economic opportunity.
Participants may explore product development, herbs and spices, preserved foods, packaging, pricing, marketing, basic business planning and workforce readiness.
Community Food & Learning Hub
The Community Food & Learning Hub brings agriculture, food preservation, nutrition education, workforce development and entrepreneurship together in one hands-on learning environment.
The Hub will also create opportunities for volunteers, educators, businesses and community partners to participate in The Tech Village’s work.
