Gold Circle Gardens

Gold Circle Gardens is the hands-on agricultural setting for many of The Tech Village’s programs and community activities.

Located near Sapulpa, Oklahoma, the 38-acre site gives participants space to grow food, learn practical agricultural skills, explore healthy food choices and experience how agriculture can create opportunities for families and communities.

Learning by Doing

Gold Circle Gardens is built around hands-on participation.

Children, adults, families, seniors and individuals with different abilities can learn through activities such as planting, garden care, harvesting, irrigation, food preservation and agricultural problem-solving.

The garden creates opportunities to connect what people learn in the classroom or kitchen with what actually happens in the soil.

Growing at Gold Circle Gardens

The site continues to develop as our agricultural programs grow.

Current growing and learning areas include garden beds, a hoop house, trellises and other growing structures. Crops have included watermelon, onions, peppers, beans, cucumbers, squash and other seasonal produce.

Irrigation, growing infrastructure and additional site improvements continue to expand our ability to teach, grow and serve the community.

Accessible Agriculture

One of our priorities is creating an environment where people with different physical abilities can participate meaningfully.

We are developing accessible growing areas and incorporating adaptive gardening tools, seating, mobility support and other features that can make agricultural activities more comfortable and accessible.

Our goal is not simply for people to observe the garden, but to have opportunities to participate in it.

From Garden to Table

Growing food is only part of the experience.

Gold Circle Gardens also supports learning about harvesting, preparing and preserving food so participants can better understand the full journey from seed to table.

Food preservation, dehydration and future food-processing activities will help participants learn how seasonal harvests can be used beyond the growing season while also creating opportunities to explore food-based entrepreneurship.

Agriculture and Entrepreneurship

The garden provides a natural environment for learning how agriculture can connect to business.

Participants can explore how herbs, spices, produce and preserved foods can become products, how products are priced and packaged, and how agricultural skills can create employment or small-business opportunities.

For The Tech Village, agriculture is both a learning tool and a pathway to opportunity.

A Place for Community

Gold Circle Gardens is being developed as a place where generations and abilities can come together.

Community workdays, educational activities, gardening, food preservation and partnerships allow volunteers, families, businesses and community organizations to take part in building something together.

Building for the Future

Our vision for Gold Circle Gardens includes expanded accessible growing spaces, improved irrigation, additional protected growing areas, food preservation equipment, gathering and learning spaces, mobility support and additional agricultural infrastructure.

Each improvement helps us expand the number of people who can participate and the kinds of experiences we can provide.
